About the Job

The Digital Marketing Lead is a key member of our team. Your primary focus will be on driving business growth by conceiving and implementing high-impact strategies for customer lifetime value and customer engagement/retention as well as acquisition models. You’ll also team up with BizOps (they’re really smart) and Customer Service Ops (they’re more, what’s it, street smart?) to devise and implement innovative strategies that will (something here that isn’t “fuel the company’s growth”).

What You’ll Do

  • Own acquisitional customer journey, which includes remarketing, retention and customer lifetime value optimization strategies
  • Guide the content team with respect to our SEO strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with biz-ops and customer services team to develop initiatives from intent through execution
  • Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends
  • Utilize customer journey mapping to segment customers based on current and past engagement with site (repeat visitors, email interaction etc.)
  • Measure results and optimize the lead database for these segments with a goal to increase conversion
  • Own the agenda, execution, testing, and monitoring of email campaign
  • Build and manage marketing technology platforms and tools that enable operational excellence and scale. Some of the platforms include marketing automation, analytics, reporting, a/b testing and email.
  • Partner with B2B and B2C marketers to execute campaigns across customer acquisition, demand generation, engagement and retention.
  • Partner effectively with product and engineering teams to develop our customer data, segmentation and targeting capabilities.
  • Execute targeted campaigns across paid channels including search, social and display.
  • Evaluate third-party technology solutions, negotiate contracts and manage ongoing vendor relationships.
  • Manage marketing’s partnership and prioritization processes with web dev, design, analytics and sales operations counterparts.
  • Lead, project manage and develop requirements for horizontal marketing projects spanning multiple areas of marketing.
  • Empower teams and individuals to make data driven, strategic decisions.
  • Lead and build marketing team enablement including knowledge sharing, best practices, training, and process excellence.
What You’ll Need

  • 2 to 4 years in a highly analytical environment with business and marketing strategy development
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations and campaign management
  • Exceptional SEM and Paid marketing understanding
  • Strong understanding of SEO
  • Experience developing and implementing reporting programs in marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • High ownership and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present to, and influence senior leadership
  • Experience with developing and executing customer lifecycle management program preferred
  • Proficiency in Performance Marketing and marketing automation technology
Nice to haves:
  • Experience in acquiring customers and tracking with little resources
  • Startup background with acquisition models of customers
  • Experience in a high growth technology company.
  • Experience in the lead generation space.
