**Position Description**

The incumbent will be responsible for the promotion, sales and support of Flowserve Flow Control Operations Valve products, severe service valve solutions and aftermarket services to major key customers in the designated territory and industry.

The incumbent takes the lead in establishing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationship with customers, representatives and colleagues.

The incumbent takes an active role in forecasting, budgeting and setting of key initiatives to ensure that Valve Division meet its business objectives.

The incumbent is an independent person and is able to work successfully with minimum direct supervision.

**Position Requirements**

1. Perform direct on-site support to customers including quotation, product application, technical presentation, root cause failure analysis, just to name a few.

2. Lead and manage sales representatives in achieving sales targets and ensure they provide the level of service expected by the customers.

3. Grow profitable aftermarket business through parts and maintenance agreement utilizing our Quick Response Centre (QRC) facilities and gain market share through change out, conversions and/or new unit sales.

4. Submit sales report regularly as dedicated by the Sales Manager.

5. Be the focal point for external customers' inquiries, quotations, order review (technical and commercial) and fulfilment for aftermarket activities in QRC.

6. Ensure pricing, discounts and terms and conditions are financial viable before processing order.

7. Develop and execute detailed account plans for key customers. The account plans should contain an action plan to meet the booking quota for that account.

8. Manage the Alliance Agreement customers account in delivering the agreement terms set.

9. Maintain existing customers and develop new customers to increase market share through conversions and new products.

10. Increase sales turnover and profitability margins.

11. Provide customer with proper documentation for all root cause failure analysis.

12. Submit weekly booking forecast and monthly sales reports.

13. Record all detailed account plans as the requested format.

14. Conduct training or product presentation to key customers at least once a year.

**Preferences**

1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

2. At least 8 years of relevant sales and industry experience

3. Possess knowledge and experience in valve sales and aftermarket service

4. Candidate with exposure in old and gas, petrochemical and chemical industry will be of added advantage
